Climate

Expect warm, tropical weather in Accra during late September and early October, with daytime temperatures in the mid‑20s to around 30 °C (mid‑80s °F) and humid evenings. Occasional rain showers are possible as the region transitions out of the rainy season, so a light rain jacket or umbrella can be handy. Pack light, breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, and sun protection to stay comfortable while attending the conference and exploring the city.

Visas

Most visitors to Ghana must obtain a valid visa before travel unless they are from a visa-exempt country, such as many ECOWAS member states. A visa is required for tourism, conferences, or business and is typically obtained through a Ghanaian embassy or consulate. Travellers must also hold a passport valid for at least six months and, in most cases, present a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate upon entry.

Some travellers may be eligible for a Visa on Arrival or Emergency Entry Visa with prior approval from the Ghana Immigration Service, which must be arranged before departure.

For the most up‑to‑date information and guidelines, please visit the official Ghana Immigration Service website at: gis.gov.gh

Liability and Insurance

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use the safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Official Letter of Invitation

An official personalized letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program.

Invitation letters can be provided electronically (PDF) if required after the registration process is completed. For further information, please use the contact us form.

Guest Attendance Policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibition hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
