The conference will pursue its objectives by exploring nutrition at the frontiers of a changing global environment across three tracks focused on resilience, innovation, and collaboration to sustain progress at scale.

Track A: Biology, Data, and Efficacy of Interventions

How to harness new science and technology innovations to ensure progress in nutrition in a changing environment:

  • What are the effects of genetics, infection/inflammation, or other environmental exposures, on micronutrient biology or deficiencies?
  • What is the role of innovations and AI for nutrition data collection, including innovations in micronutrient status assessment and intake data?
  • How can we protect dietary intakes and micronutrient status in the context of humanitarian crises?
  • How can advances in crop science ensure a shift to healthy diets in a changing food landscape?

Track B: Program Implementation and Effectiveness

How to ensure progress in nutrition in a new reality of climate change, funding cuts, conflicts, and displacement:

  • What is the evidence for a successful nutrition integration in agrifood, climate- or health and social protection systems?
  • How can we safely scale up and ensure equity of micronutrient interventions, such as large-scale fortification programs?
  • What are successful food-environment interventions to ensure healthy diets?
  • What innovative program or delivery models, including multi-sectoral models, can ensure progress in nutrition in a changing environment?

Track C: Designing an Enabling Environment

How new models of financing, integration, collaboration and leadership can enable countries to support their nutrition programs and make agriculture-, climate- and health-investments more nutrition smart in a changing environment:

  • How can we ensure financing for nutrition in a changing funding landscape and rethink how nutrition is financed—including new models for domestic and blended financing?
  • How can we reposition nutrition within broader agendas: agriculture, climate, health, and social protection?
  • How can we create and sustain effective leadership, communication, capacity exchange, and advocacy?
  • How can we fill gaps in nutrition data to inform policy decisions?
